We generally follow the Revised Common Lectionary in our services. The lectionary is a prescribed set of Bible readings for each week of the year. Each week there are four readings, one each from the Old Testament, the Psalms, the epistles, and the gospels. The readings relate to the liturgical year (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, etc.), and follow a three year cycle. Pastor Tim's sermons are generally derived from one or more of the readings, although he occasionally preaches sermon series’ on other themes.
