Local and Global Service Missions

At Hessel Park Church, we reach out to the world through our support of global missionaries: in Thailand, in Japan, and in the Dominican Republic. We support missionaries in these areas through financial contributions, prayer and encouraging communications.

In the local context, in recent times we have supported several community service efforts: empty tomb, inc.; Restoration Urban Ministries; and the TIMES Center. Each of these local ministries seeks to meet an important need within the greater Champaign-Urbana community.

We support the TIMES Center and Restoration Urban Ministries primarily through financial contributions from the benevolence offering we collect each month in connection with our communion observations.
